Hi, I'm Josh

Growing up as a musician I was taught to K.I.S.S. (Keep it Simple Stupid). As a musician, it was important to learn, listen, and play the music. Over the years of designing, I have taken that theory to heart and applied it to all of my design projects. Keeping a simple but effective design is a very powerful tool to understand. That’s why you see a lot of successful campaigns and sales from some of the top brands such as Apple, Google, Tesla, and more.

Corey Banham said in a LinkedIn article that “Design is one the most powerful forces in our lives, whether or not we are aware of it…” Designing is more than a cool graphic, it’s about creating an experience that will make your audience/customers feel inspired, empowered, and enlightened about how your product can impact their lives.

I have been in the design industry since 2009. I have worked as a full-time graphic designer for religious organizations and private corporations. I have a wide range of experience in building relationships with vendors in the print and digital field. Because of this passion, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interactive Media from Living Arts College. As well as additional coursework at CAL Arts to earn certificates in Fundamentals of Graphic Design, Introduction to Typography, Ideas from the History of Graphic Design, and Introduction to Imagemaking.

With my knowledge, creativity, and design experience, I strive to bring a holistic approach to every project I take on using every contact that I have to help businesses succeed.
